Christmas Wreath: Part One

I was so excited for Thanksgiving to get here and now that it has come and went, It's time for some holiday wreaths!

To create these wreaths you will need two round styrofoam forms. You can make the wreaths any size you want, just buy the form accordingly. Since I made two of the same kind I wanted them to be on the smaller size.

I purchased one yard of red material and two yards of burlap. Next, cut the fabric into rectangles. (I had plenty of burlap left over but I wanted some for another project)

Start by placing the fabric around the wreath form. I stuck them down with pins. this way made it easier to re adjust the fabric if I didn't quite get them on right the first time. Once you make it around, alternating the fabric, go back and make sure all the pieces are laying how you want them to. Then, with a hot glue gun, glue down corners that are sticking up. I didn't glue a ton because I wanted the fabric to look imperfect. Finally add ribbon and you're all set!
